Song For Medusa by Grace Desmarais - ★★☆☆☆
This was good, but I’m not sure I’m the target audience. It definitely seems more YA than I expected. Overall, I liked the story's message. It was an interesting take on Medusa, which I enjoyed, as I love Greek mythology.
Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC copy of this novel.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, Vol. 9 by Koyoharu Gotouge - ★★★☆☆
This was ok. I like all the different demon powers and fighting styles, but I just feel like idk where the story is supposed to go. It feels a bit random and just “here’s yet another demon encounter”. But maybe that’s the point
Rewind It Back by Liz Tomforde - ★★★★★
This is such a cute second-chance romance and a great conclusion to a great series. I loved seeing Rio finally get his happily ever after. The story was well written, and I liked that all the events felt believable. The second chance didn’t feel forced or unrealistic. It was really well done, and I loved the story.
The Dark One by Nikki St. Crowe - ★★★★★
This was a reread, and it is even better than I remember. Updated from 4 to 5 stars.
Be Your Own Bestie by Misha Brown - DNF
I love Misha, but I just couldn't get into this book. It felt like random stories, and I couldn't pick up a theme. DNF at 22%
My Hero Academia, Vol. 6 by Kōhei Horikoshi - DNF
Every time I try to pick up this series again, I just get bored. I think it's because I already watched the show, so it doesn't feel new to me. Won't be continuing. DNF at 40%.
